Ever since getting back into the beauty community, I have gotten so excited finding new beauty vloggers to follow and get inspiration from, although I still watch some of the OG vloggers. One of my recent new favorites is Mariah from The Gals Guide. Her video editing skills are insane and super professional looking but not commercially. Her personality just seems like someone I would connect with in real life, really loving her.

Anyways, I watched her Pre-Fall Makeup Tutorial and was inspired to try it out, with my own twist of different products. I really wanted to do a tutorial around MAC Rebel Lipstick because it's one of my newer lipsticks. I still feel like it makes my teeth look extra yellow but close lipped, it's pretty LOL.... once the braces come off and teeth are whitened, I think I may just love it!

On a side note, some behind the scenes thoughts.... for editing, I have gotten mixed comments about some liking my talk through tutorials over these more edited ones. I still don't get the difference between makeup tutorials and get ready with me videos... would this one be a get ready with me? Anyways, just wanted y'all to know that I do intend to do talk through videos. It's just easier to film & edit this type of video during busy season when Saturday evening/ Sunday are my only days off. So after May, I'll start doing talk through videos, unless things slow down sooner than that. I actually have 4 other videos filmed and in the process of editing so I will be able to upload one a week! Woohoo!! I still want to be connected with y'all even during busy season, not wanting to let it go like I did for almost 3 years in the Big 4.
